The Vogue Theatre, located at the corner of Colonial and Mills in the Colonialtown neighborhood opened on December 25th, 1940 with the film Four Mothers. After closing in the early 1970s it was replaced with a gas station. Currently a CVS resides on the property.

The Booby Trap, a gentlemen's club on Lee Road in Winter Park, Florida, was known for its distinctive domed architecture and a controversial reputation spanning over 40 years. Operating under various names since the 1970s, the venue was frequently linked to criminal activities, prompting police intervention. In 2014, the City of Winter Park purchased the property for $990,000 to address its negative influence, demolishing the building in 2015 and repurposing the site for community-friendly development. Its removal marked a significant step in revitalizing the area and improving the city’s image.
